Sunday Dinner with Jasper - September Cooking Class event photo

Sunday Dinner with Jasper - September Cooking Class

Saturday September 26th

Sunday dinner at Nana Mirabile’s house was never just a meal. It was a tradition. The sauce would simmer, the meatballs would cook, the braciole would fill the kitchen with their wonderful aroma, and there was always plenty of pasta and plenty of family around the table.

This September, I want to take you back to those Sundays and share some of the recipes and secrets that have been part of my family for generations.

Join us for Sunday Dinner with Jasper as we make Nana Mirabile’s style family sauce, Sicilian olive salad and garlic bread, homemade meatballs, slow simmered pork Braciole and Sunday Pasta. We will talk about the old school Italian way of cooking, the little things that make these dishes special and the traditions that make Sunday dinner such an important part of an Italian family.

And of course, no Sunday dinner would be complete without dessert. We will finish with a delicious Italian Spumoni Cake from Nana Josephine's cookbook.

This is a demonstration only class, not hands on. Sit back, relax and enjoy a complete Italian luncheon while I share the recipes, techniques, stories and traditions passed down from Nana Mirabile.

You will leave with the recipes and inspiration to bring a little bit of our family kitchen into your own home.

Seats are limited and these classes always sell out quickly. Early registration is strongly encouraged.

Come hungry and join me at the table for a true old fashioned Italian Sunday dinner, the way Nana Mirabile would have wanted it.
