Join us for one of our most anticipated culinary events of the year as we celebrate the incredible harvest from our friends at Kurlbaum’s Heirloom Tomato Farm. Their colorful, vine-ripened heirloom tomatoes are the stars of this special summer luncheon and cooking demonstration.

Learn the secrets behind Jasper’s famous homemade mozzarella and fresh ricotta cheese as Chef Jasper shares techniques and traditions passed down through generations. This informative class includes recipes, cooking instruction, demonstrations, and a complete luncheon featuring the season’s finest local ingredients.

It's time to celebrate the 2026 heirloom tomatoes grown by our friends, the Kurlbaum family. What started as a simple dinner showcasing their beautiful harvest has grown into one of Kansas City’s most anticipated summer dining events.

The Kurlbaums produce some of the finest heirloom tomatoes in the Midwest. Harvested at peak ripeness and bursting with color and flavor, these tomatoes inspire us every summer to create a menu that honors both our Italian heritage and the bounty of local agriculture. This year’s menu features an Italian Bloody Mary infused with Calabrian peppers, Tomato Tonnato, Chilled Yellow Heirloom Tomato Soup, Sicilian Pasta with Heirloom Tomatoes and Local Cucuzza, Grilled Heritage Pork with roasted heirloom tomato panzanella, and Fresh Peach Mille Feuille filled with Mama Josephine’s Italian pastry cream.

Join us as we celebrate twenty years of friendship, local farming, and unforgettable food.
